Jute rope is a type of rope, that alongside others, and often befuddled with, such as hemp, a rope made from natural, plant fibers. In some countries, people do not distinguish linking jute and hemp, although they are most indeed dissimilar in heaviness, consistency, and stench.
Jute comes from the plant of Latin name genus Corchorus, and the prime situations for development of Jute being tepid, moist and humid conditions. One of the main exporters of Jute rope is India, as the cultivation and harvesting of Jute is both time overwhelming and labor concentrated, cheap labor being employed in such countries such as India for its' manufacture.
There are two Indian species of the jute plant, used to make jute rope, and the main countries to import the product are Europe and the United States. Jute rope is very similar in feel to Hessian, jute also being used to make sacks like Hessian sacks for coffee beans etc. Jute rope has a rough feel to it, and although in the twenty first century we are seeing more and more synthetic fibers in the production of rope as well as all other materials, especially in western society, jute rope continues to be one of the most ordinarily used type of ropes available, due to its' cheap pricing, and its facility to be tied into knots.
